Our Journey
Scotty Miller discovered his true passion for baking back in 2004, embarking on what would become a lifelong journey. What started as one humble shop was built through years of relentless hard work—often working six-day weeks for over a decade—to establish the foundation of the Millers’ reputation for fresh, honest, award-winning food. Today, Scotty oversees a team of 30 dedicated staff who keep the ovens running and cabinets full, crafting the pies, sandwiches, and pastries that Newcastle locals have voted number one.
From those early days, Millers has grown alongside the community, expanding from Shortland to Argenton in 2018, Warners Bay in 2019, and Cardiff in 2021. Across all four busy locations, one thing has never changed: a total commitment to baking food that locals love. Whether it is a quick smoko pie, a fresh lunchtime sandwich, or catering for a large event, the focus remains on quality and consistency. With over two decades of experience and a community-driven spirit, Millers continues to deliver the same mouth-watering quality in every bite.
